Built from the ground up, one trade at a time
David Sanchez started hanging drywall at 21 with no English. Today he is still on every job site, as the licensed general contractor behind The Rock Remodels.
The Rock Remodels
David Sanchez trained as an architect in Merida, Yucatan. He came to the United States at 21 with no English, no connections, and no shortcuts. He started at the bottom hanging drywall and spent years learning every trade from the inside. That background is why he can price a job honestly and catch problems before they cost you money.
The Rock Remodel Inc. is a licensed California general contractor, CA 1042918, based in Vista. David serves San Diego County: kitchens, bathrooms, additions, whole-home remodels, and ADU construction. You can check the license free on the Contractors State License Board website.
His wife Alma runs the office and a sister company, ADUz, that handles ADU design and permits. David builds them. One family, one team, in English or Spanish, start to finish.
What you get with The Rock Remodels
Honest pricing, up front.
No surprise invoices. You get a clear quote before anything starts, and the price holds. David quotes it himself because he knows every trade.
The owner on every job.
David is not a salesperson or a call center. He is on site, personally, on every project. You hired him, and he shows up.
Built to last.
David trained as an architect. He understands structure, not just finishes. The work holds up because it is done right the first time.
Bilingual, start to finish.
English or Spanish, every conversation. No miscommunication, no middleman. One family team from the first call to the final walkthrough.
